Basic information

Examining the different choices our societies make when faced with complex social issues, and examining the impact of those choices helps students better understand both US and French cultures. 

Possible activities for a synchronous exchange: 

Students read selected articles on a series of chosen themes, discuss the ideas, followed by a written commentary.

Students could also create Public Service Messages for their partner's country, following discussions to understand how to persuade the target population. 

The final project can be investigating a cross cultural topic chosen by the partner students.
